School-Based Physical Therapist - Harvest, AL

Enjoy the flexibility of a 20-25 hour workweek as you provide physical therapy services across designated schools in the Harvest, AL area. Working collaboratively, you’ll partner with a recommended district therapist to divide the caseload and efficiently assign schools, ensuring each student receives tailored PT services detailed in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
What you'll do:
- Deliver direct physical therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Track service sessions and meticulously monitor student progress
- Develop and implement individualized and effective therapy plans
- Collaborate with IEP teams and contribute valuable recommendations
- Engage in ongoing communication with educators, families, and school staff
- Travel between assigned school locations to meet caseload needs
Desired qualifications:
- Active, valid state Physical Therapist license
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design, adapt, and implement successful PT interventions
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently
