English Language Arts Gen Ed Teacher - Round Lake, Illinois

This full-time, onsite opportunity covers the academic year from August 17 through May 27, 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement(s).
• Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional planning, and implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience with 5th-grade learners, especially in ELA and Social Studies content.
• Flexibility and passion for engaging students in both subjects, with ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learners.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in English Language Arts and Social Studies to 5th-grade students, utilizing relevant, creative, and interactive teaching techniques.
• Develop lesson plans that meet state standards, incorporating differentiation to address varying student needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
