Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Gretna, Louisiana

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active BCBA credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• State-issued Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) certification through the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board
• Comprehensive knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and techniques
• Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Ability to pass drug screening and fingerprinting background checks as required by the district and credentialing
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Forward-thinking, flexible, and collaborative approach to working with students, families, and educational teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based behavioral assessments and intervention plans for students with varying needs
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support goal achievement and student growth
• Provide direct or consultative services as needed, in alignment with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress, collect and analyze data, and make recommendations for program modifications
• Offer guidance and professional development to school staff regarding ABA principles and strategies
• Maintain ethical standards and documentation according to professional and district guidelines

This position runs from August 2026 through May 2027, covering 35 hours weekly during regular school days, matched to the local academic calendar. School assignments and specific caseload details will be determined prior to start to best fit candidate strengths and district needs.
