Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active and valid Social Worker licensure/certification in the state (required)
• Experience working in school environments preferred
• Strong ability to connect with K-12 students from varied backgrounds
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to adapt to itinerant assignments and varied school sites
• No educator credential needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling to students with social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop student support strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to assess and address students’ needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and procedures
• Contribute to positive school climate initiatives and preventive programming
