Exciting opportunity available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to support students in a welcoming educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role is ideal for professionals interested in working part-time, delivering essential speech and language services in person two days per week, with the flexibility to support students in 1-2 classrooms within the Oroville/Paradise region. Key Qualifications:

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in a school setting with a diverse student population
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and progress documentation
  • Ability to supervise SLPA personnel is highly desirable
  • Licensed to practice as an SLP in California (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed, compliant documentation
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and school staff to maximize student progress
  • Supervise SLPA staff as needed, offering support and guidance
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Deliver services in person two days per week or virtually if remote
