Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a Behavior Specialist, Paraprofessional, or ABA/RBT at a school district near Windsor, VT. This contract opportunity offers impactful experience as the district launches innovative pilot projects to rebuild its behavior support program for the 2026/27 academic year. With a new district BCBA taking the supervisory lead and opportunities for outside BCBA mentorship for RBTs, you’ll collaborate within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Your work will impact students from kindergarten through 12th grade across four school buildings. Providers are needed for the full academic year, from August 26, 2026 through June 14, 2027, with full-time positions requiring 35–37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Experience as a Paraprofessional, ABA provider, RBT, or Behavior Specialist in a school or similar setting
  • Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques
  • Ability to adapt to evolving programs and work flexibly as the district implements new initiatives
  • RBT certification strongly preferred for RBT positions; paraprofessional certification or relevant background for other roles
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort working across K–12 student populations and multiple buildings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one and group behavioral support to students
  • Implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA or program supervisor direction
  • Document data and progress, contributing to ongoing program development
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in training and meetings as required
  • Adjust strategies as new program components are introduced throughout the year
