Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience providing school-based speech-language services preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs and educational needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions, monitor progress, and regularly document outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support for students
- Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development as needed
- Support educational staff by offering strategies and resources for classroom communication
