Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a vibrant educational environment near Blue Springs, MO. This position calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) to serve as both a case manager and service provider, joining a collaborative setting alongside an SLP-A and another supervising SLP.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC credential required
- SLP experience in schools strongly preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of speech and language disorders in elementary-aged children
- Proficiency in case management and documentation for IEPs and related compliance
- Team-oriented approach and collaborative communication skills
- Ability to supervise or coordinate with SLP-Assistants as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 21 elementary students (case manager)
- Provide direct services for up to 76 students (with SLP-A support)
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, monitor student progress, and maintain required documentation
- Coordinate communication and progress updates with parents, teachers, and special education staff
- Support and collaborate with the on-site SLP-A across 2-3 days per week
- Ensure alignment with district and state guidelines for speech-language services
This is a full-time, on-site contract running from August 25, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a 35-hour work week.
