Teacher's Aide | Osseo, Minnesota

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of middle school students as a highly-qualified paraprofessional for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers multiple openings at various middle schools in the Osseo, MN area, where you’ll assist educators and directly impact student achievement. Assignments begin in late August, with 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for a 90-day initial contract period before consideration for direct employment.

Choose from several middle school locations based on your preference—your input matters when presenting your application. Supporting children with daily learning, routine, and sometimes personal care is essential, including assisting with toileting needs as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must meet ONE of the following:
  • Pass the Minnesota Paraprofessional or ParaEducator Exam
  • Completed at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required; diplomas/degree photos not accepted)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with middle school or K-12 students preferred
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a diverse educational team
• Willingness to assist with all aspects of student care, including toileting
• Must provide a current resume and all required “Highly Qualified” documentation for district consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in instructional and non-instructional tasks
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers
• Encourage and motivate students while maintaining safety and order
