Take your expertise in both Special Education and Math instruction to the next level by supporting student success as a full-time Co-Teacher in a vibrant high school environment. You will help deliver math curriculum in a co-taught classroom, ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive targeted support and every learner’s potential is recognized and nurtured. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching License
- Special Education (SPED) Licensure required
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Direct experience teaching math within a special education setting (co-teaching experience preferred)
- Strong commitment to collaboration and student advocacy
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Co-teach designated math class, integrating individualized supports and accommodations
- Develop and modify instructional materials to meet students’ diverse needs
- Communicate regularly with fellow teachers, support staff, and families
- Assess and track student progress, contributing to IEP meetings as needed
- Create a positive, respectful learning environment for all students
