Speech Language Pathologist in Unadilla, NY

If you are a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials and experience supporting school-aged children, consider this rewarding contract opportunity. Work full-time near Unadilla, NY, serving a diverse K-8 general education population with an emphasis on fluency and speech needs. The school has previously utilized both virtual speech services and occupational therapy support, but is seeking an on-site SLP to fill a recent vacancy.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• New York State SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience in school settings, preferably K-8
• Strong background in treating fluency and speech sound disorders
• Ability to manage a general education caseload
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility and openness to working collaboratively with existing virtual and onsite providers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy for K-8 students during standard school hours (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Perform comprehensive fluency and speech assessments
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special services staff, and parents to support student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and related planning initiatives
