Qualifications / Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Experience with elementary students or pediatric caseloads
  • Prior schools-based or healthcare SLP experience beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate student records and implement evidence-based interventions
