Qualifications / Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience with elementary students or pediatric caseloads
- Prior schools-based or healthcare SLP experience beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate student records and implement evidence-based interventions
