Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Social Worker for schools, meeting state requirements
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably as a school-based social worker
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and advocacy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administration, families, and community agencies
• Organized, compassionate, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a school setting
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to support students’ well-being
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services
• Promote a safe and positive school climate through prevention programs and staff training
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal mandates regarding student information
