Inspire and educate the next generation as a Middle School Math Teacher working with 7th and 8th grade students! This full-time, onsite contract position offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for mathematics and support student growth in a collaborative academic environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current teaching certification qualifying you to teach General Education Math at the middle school level
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in education, mathematics, or a related field
  • Prior experience teaching math in a classroom setting, preferably with grades 7-8
  • Strong classroom management abilities and effective organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students, faculty, and parents
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support a diverse learner population

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with state and district curriculum standards for 7th and 8th grade students
  • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and standardized testing, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Create an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere to encourage participation and critical thinking
  • Integrate technology and innovative strategies to support math learning and retention
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to ensure student success and address individual needs
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share student achievements and address concerns
