Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services to students with varying challenges and disabilities
- Support student participation and performance in daily school activities through targeted interventions
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and document progress data in alignment with educational and clinical requirements
- Adapt materials, classroom activities, and environments to best serve individual student needs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions
- Assist with assessments, screenings, and reporting as required
