This full-time, full school year contract role provides opportunities to collaborate with fellow professionals while delivering essential speech and language services. Ideal candidates bring a solid background in California public schools, a hands-on approach with school-based documentation, and the ability to supervise and guide SLPAs with support from experienced facilitators.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC required; open to Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF)
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience in California schools
- At least 1 year working with SEIS documentation
- Previous experience supervising SLPAs with facilitator support is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills to manage high caseloads and timely referrals
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, though not essential
- On-site service delivery only; no telepractice options
Role Details and Responsibilities:
- 1 full-time position available (37.5 hours per week)
- Provide speech-language therapy and assessments for a diverse student population
- Oversee SLPA support staff, collaborating for high-quality therapeutic outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress using SEIS
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with educational teams
- Prioritize high-volume referrals and caseload management with professionalism
