Step into a full-time school-based opportunity designed for SLP professionals who thrive in dynamic educational settings. This contract role spans two rewarding sites—a preschool and a middle school—both located in the San Juan Capistrano area. You’ll support students during a Leave of Absence period, with an anticipated start in mid-October and potential end date yet to be confirmed. The need is urgent for two licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for making a meaningful impact.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California licensure in good standing
  • Previous experience in school settings, with preschool and/or middle school caseloads preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseload needs and schedules
  • Commitment to fostering student success within inclusive settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language intervention services to a diverse caseload of preschool and middle school students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and development
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute actively to team discussions
