Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Holds or is eligible for SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY credentials
  • Experience in a school setting or a strong interest in school-based practice
  • Skilled in evaluating and treating a wide variety of communication disorders
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Flexible, compassionate, and organized in approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services for a K-12 caseload
  • Administer assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress efficiently
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and individualized care strategies
  • Conduct screenings and collaborate in Response-to-Intervention (RTI) processes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining thorough and timely records
  • Partner with educators and families to support the whole student
