School Speech Language Pathologist - Hayward, CA

This full-time contract opportunity specializes in providing speech-language pathology expertise to a preschool caseload, offering a rewarding blend of assessment and therapy that nurtures early communication skills.

In this position, you will conduct comprehensive preschool assessments and deliver targeted therapy services to a manageable caseload of 16 students, ensuring individualized attention and meaningful progress. Your expertise will also be valued through participation in select districtwide bilingual assessments, where you’ll help identify and meet the diverse needs of students from varying language backgrounds.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid California State licensure, or eligibility
• Previous experience or interest in preschool assessments and early childhood intervention
• Strong collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and other specialists
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for every student

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool-age children
• Provide evidence-based, individualized therapy sessions
• Maintain organized, accurate student records and documentation
