For the 2026-2027 academic year, you’ll work 20-25 hours per week, bringing your expertise to a network of schools in the Hazel Green, AL area. As part of a collaborative model, a senior physical therapist will assist in dividing caseloads and assigning schools, ensuring balanced responsibilities and professional support.
Your days will involve travel between various educational settings, delivering direct PT services tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). You’ll play an integral role in monitoring and recording session data and student progress, providing insightful recommendations to IEP teams, and fostering student development through personalized intervention.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with educators, families, and colleagues
- Skilled in crafting and implementing individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct PT services to students in accordance with their IEPs
