This position offers two unique openings: one full-time role with extended school year responsibilities, and another full-time opportunity covering a maternity leave, anticipated to run from August through March. Both roles allow you to make a meaningful impact by addressing a range of student needs across diverse K-12 populations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California OT license
  • Prior experience within California schools setting
  • Ability to independently administer and interpret the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students ages 3-22 with multiple disabilities
  • Strong documentation skills and proficiency in data-driven service recommendations to address parent concerns
  • Capable of managing a dynamic, shifting caseload based on changing needs, including assessments and consultations
  • Comfortable working itinerantly with little onsite support and confident in creating a flexible schedule to meet district-wide requirements
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, though not mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with varying needs, from mild to severe
  • Conduct thorough assessments and deliver impactful recommendations to IEP teams and families
  • Adjust to fluctuating caseloads and traveling between school sites as needed
  • Foster communication with parents, educators, and district personnel
  • Maintain accurate records and work autonomously in a fast-paced, field-based environment
