Occupational Therapist School Setting - Aurora, CO

Step into a meaningful contract assignment supporting the educational needs of students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Aurora, CO. With a schedule spanning 34 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday, you'll enjoy long weekends off while working onsite across diverse grade levels—three days focused on an elementary environment and one day serving high school students. This well-structured assignment runs from August 18, 2026, through June 3, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Previous experience in school-based OT roles or familiarity with pediatric caseloads is highly valued
• Ability to adapt and collaborate with various educators and support staff
• Exceptional communication skills to connect with students, teachers, and families
• Strong organizational skills to manage varying case demands efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
• Deliver direct therapy services that support fine motor, sensory, and daily living skill development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate OT strategies in the educational environment
• Document progress and routinely update student records in compliance with all regulations
• Provide training and guidance to teachers and families for at-home or classroom OT strategies
