Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP credentials—SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with K-8 populations highly valued
- Strong clinical knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs for school-aged students
- Collaborative mindset for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to a diverse K-8 caseload
- Conduct assessments and reassessments to inform service planning
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations
- Educate staff and families to foster supportive communication environments
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs and promote progress
