Job Description

This contract opportunity begins August 3rd and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 40 hours a week. Preferred background and experience:
Current and valid Occupational Therapy licensure.
Skilled in school-based OT services, with additional experience in teletherapy, home health, or other healthcare settings considered a plus.
Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Adaptable to evolving caseloads and comfortable providing direct, consultative, and virtual services as needed.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage positively with students, families, and school staff.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to PK-12 students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.
Assess, plan, and implement therapy plans focused on enhancing students’ functional abilities within both classroom and remote learning environments.
Maintain comprehensive records, progress notes, and timely documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster best outcomes and facilitate student participation in daily school routines.
Flexibly adapt to caseload details as they are assigned and adjust interventions to meet individual needs.
