This full-time, contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week supporting a small district, allowing you to work across 2-3 school sites near Ypsilanti, MI. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure/certification for SLP in Michigan
- Relevant school-based experience or strong clinical background
- Ability to provide group and individualized therapy to elementary and middle school students
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing IEPs
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload across multiple sites
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-8th grade students, fostering growth in language, articulation, voice, and fluency
- Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and contribute to the IEP process
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Provide both pull-out and push-in therapy models tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate progress tracking, documentation, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer consultative support and resources to school staff and parents
- Travel between 2-3 sites within the district as part of the workweek
