You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals to assess needs, design and implement interventions, and foster positive mental health throughout the school environment—not just focusing on assessments, but engaging in broader school support and programming.

What you’ll bring:

• Current (or eligibility and commitment to obtain) Michigan School Psychologist Certification prior to start date; experienced school psychologists traveling from other states are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Deep knowledge of assessment, intervention, and current educational best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong desire to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students as assigned.
• Developing and monitoring intervention and support plans in consultation with staff and families.
• Supporting teachers and administrators in understanding student needs and implementing effective classroom strategies.
• Taking an active role in broad school-based mental health initiatives—not just testing, but providing holistic student support.
• Being onsite at one or two buildings in the district, collaborating with a close-knit team of fellow psychologists.
