Step into an impactful role providing essential speech-language services to students throughout the school year. This contract opportunity is situated in the welcoming community near Stillwater, MN, and involves working across school sites to ensure every student receives the support they deserve.

Initially, you’ll offer coverage at a vibrant elementary school as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity leave. Once the regular team member returns following Thanksgiving break, your expertise will make a difference as you transition to assist other school sites requiring leave coverage. If no new leaves arise, your focus will shift to delivering compensatory services for students who may have missed support, ensuring educational continuity and progress for diverse learners.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Minnesota School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and eager to make a positive impact

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation on student progress and session outcomes
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Deliver compensatory services as needed based on student requirements

This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week during the entire 2026/2027 school year.
