Pharmacist | Redding, California

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist to support a 250-bed hospital in Redding, CA. The role involves providing essential pharmacy services within a dynamic healthcare setting, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week on variable days and afternoons. This position offers a contract with the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and quality
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetic assessments to support treatment plans
• Utilize pharmacy IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license is required
• Willingness to travel and work in northern California
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• PGY1 residency completion is highly desirable
