This contract opportunity invites you to serve students across multiple sites in West-Northwest Washington, including areas near Bremerton and Poulsbo, for the 2026-2027 academic year. Your support plays an essential role in helping students achieve their communication goals and succeed in their educational journeys.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Current Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate for speech/language pathology
  • Valid Restraint Certification
  • Either relevant experience or the ability to obtain a clinical competence certificate
  • Familiarity with special education programs is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess, and determine eligibility for students with communication disorders who require special education support
  • Collaborate in the placement of students and work closely with education teams
  • Assist in the creation and continual monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct support and therapeutic intervention to foster student growth
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, assessment results, and intervention outcomes
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
