Speech Language Pathologist in Clinton Township, MI

This full-time, contract position spans the entire academic year, from August 18th through June 11th, and provides the opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a supportive educational environment near Clinton Township, MI.

This role welcomes both those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates who are eager to grow and make a difference in school settings.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain
• CCC or CFY credentials accepted
• Previous experience in a school setting (preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering student success and adapting to varying caseload needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders within a K-8th grade caseload
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Track student progress and document interventions in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support team meetings, and staff development opportunities
• Consult with teachers and parents to facilitate carryover of therapy techniques in the classroom and at home
