With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule—40 hours per week—you’ll support communication development and academic success for elementary-aged children in a welcoming school environment.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota SLP license required
- SLP-CCC, SLP- CFY, or experience in school-based/pediatric settings
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and creating effective treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in IEP meetings
- Experience delivering both small group and individual speech/language interventions
- Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
- Collaborative attitude and flexibility to adapt to school needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Lead and actively participate in IEP meetings, developing and monitoring student goals
- Provide direct speech/language therapy services in individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student growth and integrate communication goals
- Maintain compliance with documentation and district requirements
- Foster a positive, engaging environment for student progress
