Occupational Therapist School Setting in Eden Prairie, MN

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid OT licensure (Minnesota State license required)
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school environment strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Please note: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA’s) are not eligible for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the educational framework
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals with students’ IEPs
• Provide therapy services in individual and small group settings
• Educate and support teachers and parents with home/classroom strategies
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Contribute to the creation of a supportive, inclusive learning environment
