Make a real impact supporting students across diverse school settings! Experienced speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are sought for two full-time, in-person contract positions for the upcoming school year. These engaging roles will serve students across Washington and Greene Counties, providing essential speech and language services within welcoming, student-centered environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50 students (for the Washington Park Elementary placement) or across multiple sites
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
  • Conducting evaluations, documenting outcomes, and maintaining accurate records per district and state guidelines
  • Traveling as needed to assigned schools (see details below), ensuring all sites receive quality, consistent support

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP-CCC credential
  • Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate (required)
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school-based settings with diverse student populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Comfort commuting to assignments within Washington and Greene Counties; reliable transportation required

Specifics:

  • Washington Park Elementary: Training August 13th and 14th, school year starts August 26th and ends June 3rd, regular schedule 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Multi-site role: Training August 13th, 14th, and 17th; services will be delivered at Bethlehem-Center Elementary (half day/week), Fort Cherry Elementary (2 days/week), and Waynesburg (2 days/week); school year begins August 20th
  • Both roles require on-site presence and travel as assigned
