Step into a dynamic educational setting in the North Houston area, where your expertise in speech-language pathology will make a meaningful impact on students’ lives. This full-time, contract assignment is perfect for passionate SLPs who want to grow professionally in a supportive school environment. Starting August 12th, 2026, and continuing through May 28th, 2027, you’ll become an integral part of special education teams serving one primary campus, with some itinerant roles available to support students across multiple sites.

Your skills will help shape communication and academic success for diverse students as you collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists. Both experienced clinicians and eager Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to bring their enthusiasm for student-centered care.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active or eligible state licensure for Texas
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, but motivated new graduates are also welcome
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records and timely reports for student progress
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ educational programs
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to a collaborative educational environment
