Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Detroit, MI

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule Options:

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts starting at 6am
• Block schedule available: five 8’s, four 10’s, or three 12’s per week
• On-call: 48 hours during each six-week schedule; one weekend/month

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• BLS certification required
• Previous OR nursing experience
• Cardiac scrub experience necessary

Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care in the CVOR
• Employ the nursing process for effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient and family care and education
• Communicate pertinent information within the healthcare team
• Participate in collaborative problem-solving for patient care variances and implement effective solutions
• Maintain flexibility for on-call assignments as required
