Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled imaging professional to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 13-week contract role offers the opportunity to perform both Radiology and CT procedures in a well-equipped facility that includes organizational clinics and an attached emergency room. The position features diverse responsibilities and requires participation in a shared call rotation with other department members.

Schedule:

  • 4 shifts of 10 hours each week
  • Shifts run from 11:30am to 10:00pm
  • Participation in call rotation with department team

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Valid Kansas state license
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in both Radiology and CT
  • Familiarity with critical access hospital operations is advantageous
  • Proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic and CT procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Select appropriate technique, voltage, current, and exposure time to ensure image quality and patient safety
  • Position patients accurately for optimal imaging of affected areas
  • Provide clear instructions to patients to ensure successful procedures
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as required, following all safety protocols
  • Maintain up-to-date technique charts in compliance with state regulations
  • Operate stationary and portable radiographic equipment throughout the hospital, including critical care and emergency areas
  • Complete preventative maintenance checks on all imaging equipment
  • Communicate with nursing staff to confirm patient appointments, medications, and any special requirements
  • Thoroughly assess patients before administering contrast or performing procedures
  • Document medications and finalize X-ray requests for appropriate recordkeeping

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
