Expand your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology within a vibrant school setting, working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This rewarding contract opportunity spans from late July 2026 through mid-July 2027, engaging with a diverse student population in an educational environment. The position offers a supportive structure, including a smaller, manageable caseload and opportunities for mentorship for candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Key Qualifications:

  • Possess a master’s degree in speech-language pathology
  • Hold a valid Mississippi teaching certificate with a 215 endorsement
  • Eligible for or hold certification from the Mississippi Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology
  • Membership in the Mississippi Speech and Hearing Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-based populations
  • Open to both experienced SLPs and those in their CFY; clinical supervision available

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students at three school sites (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Maintain and update individualized treatment records and progress notes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team to develop and implement IEPs
  • Screen, evaluate, and identify students with communication and language needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with educators and families
  • Manage a smaller, manageable caseload (exact number to be determined)
