You’ll collaborate closely with School Psychologists, contributing your expertise to comprehensive evaluations and helping identify nuanced skill deficits in students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas BCBA license required
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Clear understanding of data collection, behavioral assessment, and consultation in education
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting if not done recently for a Texas public school district; processing can take up to one week
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer behavioral support and consultative services to School Psychologists (LSSPs) for Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIE)
- Conduct specialized assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS
- Perform direct student observations and Functional Behavior Assessments
- Deliver actionable recommendations to empower educators and support students’ progress
- Maintain diligent data collection and thorough documentation to meet evaluation standards
- Serve in an itinerant role, working within different regions of the district as needs arise
This full-time, on-site position spans the academic year from August 10, 2026 through May 21, 2027, with up to 37.5 hours per week. Your professional insight will be valued as you assist multiple campuses and diverse teams.
