Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year in a vibrant educational setting near Pleasant Prairie, WI. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 35-45 students, primarily at the elementary level, focusing on providing skilled interventions that make a lasting difference. With two experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to partner with, you’ll be able to focus on delivering quality care and developing customized strategies for student success. This district values collaboration and stability, and there is strong potential to extend your assignment if it’s an excellent match.

What you bring:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current WI OT license (or eligibility prior to start).
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Team-player mentality, supporting COTAs and collaborating with educators and families.
  • Positive approach to addressing a range of student developmental and sensory needs.

Your responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students and develop targeted intervention plans.
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a diverse pediatric caseload.
  • Support IEP processes, documenting progress and communicating with the educational team.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to COTAs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student independence and participation.
  • Maintain accurate service records and session notes in compliance with district and state guidelines.
