Pediatric Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist - Oregon
Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Lake Oswego, OR. The role involves providing on-site speech therapy services to students in grades K-5, five days a week. This contract position requires coverage during a leave period spanning from August 24 to December 7.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to children in a school setting
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support students' communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations, including confidentiality standards in educational settings
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school environments
- Proficiency in telespeech services is beneficial but not mandatory
- Familiarity with common speech and language disorders in children and appropriate intervention techniques
- Ability to work independently without supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) or Clinical Fellows (CFs)
