Speech Language Pathologist in Helena, AL

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organize, manage time effectively, and handle a diverse caseload

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech/language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following IEP guidelines
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Offer support and resources to families and caregivers to foster students’ progress beyond the classroom
