Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize, manage time effectively, and handle a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech/language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following IEP guidelines
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Offer support and resources to families and caregivers to foster students’ progress beyond the classroom
