Job Description
Bring your passion and expertise to a vibrant educational setting by providing speech-language pathology support to students in a wonderful Southern California community. This contract position focuses on delivering direct and indirect services as part of a collaborative team supporting both preschool and middle school students in the San Juan Capistrano area. You'll be based on-campus, working closely with dedicated educators and specialists to make a meaningful difference during a leave of absence period.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active California SLP license
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with preschool and middle school populations, strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, direct therapy, and related documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Support students with individualized and group therapy in line with IEP goals
- Perform evaluations, provide recommendations, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams on- and off-site
- Deliver both preventative and rehabilitative interventions to maximize students’ communication potential
- Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines in all service processes
Schedule & Details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday during school hours
- Assignments available in both preschool and middle school campuses
- Role centers on a leave of absence, starting mid-October with date flexibility; end date to be confirmed
- On-site work only, in a friendly and supportive district environment
