School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Mission Viejo, California

This contract position focuses on delivering direct and indirect services as part of a collaborative team supporting both preschool and middle school students in the San Juan Capistrano area. You'll be based on-campus, working closely with dedicated educators and specialists to make a meaningful difference during a leave of absence period.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and active California SLP license
• Previous experience in school settings, especially with preschool and middle school populations, strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, direct therapy, and related documentation
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Support students with individualized and group therapy in line with IEP goals
• Perform evaluations, provide recommendations, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams on- and off-site
• Deliver both preventative and rehabilitative interventions to maximize students’ communication potential
• Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines in all service processes

Schedule & Details:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday during school hours
• Assignments available in both preschool and middle school campuses
• Role centers on a leave of absence, starting mid-October with date flexibility; end date to be confirmed
• On-site work only, in a friendly and supportive district environment
