Social Worker | Grand Blanc, Michigan

Make an immediate impact supporting students' mental wellness by providing essential services as a school-based mental health specialist. In this contract position, you’ll work in a collaborative educational setting, partnering closely with general education students ranging from elementary to high school. Whether leading individual and group sessions or assisting with implementing positive behavior programs, your expertise will shape a supportive school climate and foster student success.

Openings are available at both the elementary and high school levels, offering a chance to make a difference across age groups. You’ll have the opportunity to provide professional learning, deliver direct social-emotional support, and serve as a resource for classroom and building-wide initiatives.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required—client will not consider bachelor’s degrees.
• Current and valid LARA license (counseling, social work, psychology, or family therapy); see the Michigan LARA website for details.
• Acceptable credentials include: licensed or limited licensed master’s level psychologist, social worker, marriage and family therapist, or professional counselor.
• School-based credential such as a Michigan school counselor license, school counselor endorsement, PSCC, or TSCL (with progression toward LARA license requirements within 24 months).
• Experience delivering social emotional interventions with school-aged children and adolescents is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, implement positive behavior supports, and engage in professional learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:
