Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Choose from: five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts (all start at 6:00 am)
- 48 hours of on-call required in each 6-week schedule period; available for at least one weekend per month
Duration:
- 13-week contract beginning 05/18/2026, estimated to conclude on 08/15/2026
Professional Growth & Experience:
This role allows you to work alongside accomplished cardiac specialists, adopting best practices and learning leadership approaches unique to this high-acuity setting. The assignment will diversify your resume with advanced cardiac scrub and CVOR experience, while also fostering collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license for Michigan
- BLS certification
- Recent experience as an RN in the OR, with cardiac scrub capabilities
- Strong assessment, documentation, and patient advocacy skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct delivery and oversight of patient-centered cardiovascular care during operative procedures
- Utilization of the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Communication of critical information with health care teams and patient families
- Promptly identifying and addressing variance from patient goals—implementing effective solutions

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
