Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift: 0630–1500

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license (CA Board of Registered Nursing) required
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association) required
  • Minimum two years of recent, relevant clinical experience
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CVOR procedures, including open-heart surgery, circulating, and cardiac robotic cases required
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in competency assessment and improvement preferred
  • Scrub experience preferred
  • Strong physician relations skills preferred
  • Ability to liaise effectively with sterile processing teams preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and provide high-level support during complex cardiovascular and open-heart surgeries
  • Assist with cardiac robotic procedures as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
  • Maintain compliance with clinical standards and evolving best practices
  • Foster clear, effective collaboration and communication with physicians, surgical staff, and sterile processing units
  • Lead or contribute to team competency development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate safe patient care delivery through meticulous attention to procedural protocols
  • Participate in ongoing education and skills advancement for both self and peers

$2,995 - $3,277/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
