Step into a rewarding contract position delivering vital speech-language pathology services to students in a dynamic school-based setting. This opportunity spans from late August through early June 2027, offering a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The primary caseload consists of elementary students, with the addition of some secondary students, totaling approximately 40-50 individuals. Your expertise will help shape lives through therapy, evaluations, and participation in meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota SLP license required (please be prepared to provide proof upon submission)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of age-appropriate, evidence-based therapy approaches for both elementary and secondary students
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers and other team members to support students’ educational progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to families and school staff
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of all assessments, interventions, and meetings
  • Commit to onsite services (virtual not available at this time)
