Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive early childhood team in Roebuck, SC. This school-based position focuses on serving preschool-aged children (3–4 years old) within a Child Development Center, helping young learners build the communication skills needed for future academic and social success.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with early learners in a collaborative environment alongside experienced speech-language professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged students
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and developmental screenings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Address speech, language, articulation, social communication, and developmental delays
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support school readiness and early communication development
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License (Required)
- Valid South Carolina Educator Certification (Required)
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Early childhood, preschool, pediatric, or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
