Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We're seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a direct hire opportunity with a 503A/503B closed-door compounding pharmacy in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This leadership role is ideal for a pharmacist with a strong background in sterile compounding, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA, and state board regulations
Oversee sterile compounding operations, workflow, staffing, and quality assurance
Maintain compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, including California and other non-resident state requirements
Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Hire, train, supervise, and mentor pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Lead pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions
Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation programs
Ensure the safe handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
Partner with leadership on operational growth, licensing, and strategic initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and inspection readiness

Qualifications:

PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Active Nevada Pharmacist license
Active California Pharmacist license
Additional state pharmacist licenses are strongly preferred or willingness to obtain
Minimum of 3 years of sterile compounding experience preferred
Previous experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager strongly preferred
In-depth knowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, and sterile compounding regulations
Experience with multi-state pharmacy operations and non-resident licensure
Experience in a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy is a plus
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
