Qualifications:
- Active RN license, valid in Colorado or compact state
- Two or more years’ experience in a CVOR setting
- Certification in BLS and ACLS (current and in good standing)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Strong adaptability to dynamic surgical environments
- Proficient with cardiovascular operating room protocols and equipment
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for cardiovascular surgeries with a focus on optimal patient care
- Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
- Prepare and manage specialized CVOR instrumentation and supplies
- Monitor and document patient status throughout the perioperative period
- Adhere to best practices in patient safety and sterile technique
- Support quality initiatives and continuous departmental improvement
