Two full-time SLP positions are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting elementary students across two vibrant school sites in the Bremerton area. These contract roles offer the chance to work closely with K-12 learners, providing essential speech and language services in an in-person only setting. Caseloads are set at a manageable limit of 48, with typical fluctuations up to 60, ensuring a balanced and rewarding experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid WA SLP License and ESA certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Fingerprinting through OSPI (required before starting)
- Experience in school settings and working with K-12 caseloads is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students over two school sites
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, write and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document student progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in meetings and contribute to a supportive school community
